happy birthday to you!
My dad celebrated his birthday on Saturday (3/17) and my mom celebrates her's tomorrow (3/20). With each passing year, I think I grow to love and appreciate my parents more and more! How they raised my sister and myself feb/march pics
It's been a while. February seems to have went by in a big blur. And March is going even faster - if that's even possible. My to-do list and pictures to scrapbook and books to read is getting longer and longer, and my time seems to be getting shorter and shorter. Anyway, here is a glimpse from the past month - the kids' valentine pic (and Lilly's beautiful tattoo'ed face - ah, I'm so proud), and some pics from Isaiah's birthday party - he turned the big SIX on March 6th!

new friends
I love meeting new friends, and being a full time stay at home mommy, meeting new friends is not a daily occurance for me. However, recently via facebook, I hooked up with one of my old friends I use to hang out with a lot in high school. They had briefly moved out of state, but last year had moved back, and he wanted to hook up again and introduce me to his wife and kids. So we invited them (along with our friends, Jeremy and Monica, who also know him) to our house for a BBQ and hung out. Since then, we have gone out on a triple date to BD's Mongolian BBQ and to Starbucks to chat. We had a great time. It's been fun catching up with an old friend, along with meeting a new one. Now Heather and I are in talks of planning a play date with our kiddos, and their family is planning on visiting our church on Sunday. Heather is super kind and sweet - she even has a blog on tips to save money - who doesn't need tips like that?! Check her out! http://www.pinchingpennieswithheather.com/Sunday, January 29, 2012
Joey
I must preface this post, by telling you all what a 90's sitcom nerd I really am. Seriously. Just ask my husband. And by 90's sitcom, I'm mainly referring to the every Friday night line up (anybody remember TGIF?) Anywho, for anyone who knows me at all, knows how much I used to be obsessed with Full House. Back in 2009 I went to a Womens Conference and got to meet Candace Cameron- Bure (DJ Tanner!), that was a total blast - and yes, I was one of those crazy pshyco fans screaming when she went on stage. (hey....I watched her every week on Full House growing up - this was a BIG deal!!! lol) Well, I am following most of the cast of Full House on Twitter (I told you I was a nerd!) and Dave Coulier (Joey!) posted that he is doing a comedy show in Kansas City - so of course, I had to call and get tickets! Yay! I was SO excited. So we brought our friends, Jeremy and Monica and went to see "Joey"!
