Out with the old.....in with the new....

It has been an eventful month around our house in April...and the months not over yet!!

Sad day for me.......April 3rd....we sold my beloved yellow Ford Escape. =( We must make room for 3 car seats though, and my comfy little Escape was just not going to cut it. So we posted the listing on Craisglist, and sold it very quickly - to a lady from our church actually! So I might still get to see it around the church parking lot every now and then! It was a sad day indeed though. We bought that car in 2003/04 in Michigan right after we moved there. Ran great. It was a good little car.

BUT......with baby #3 on the way, we must have something larger for our growing family. So for a couple weeks we have been van shopping. On April 12th, we found a blue Grand Caravan that we really liked. It was a little older, and had a few more miles on it than what we originally were looking at, but the price was good, so we snagged it. LOVE the color of it. Although, I know mom, it's not as easy to spot as the bright yellow. :)

Seven passenger, stow-n-go seating, leather seats, heated front seats, automatic side door openers, dual air controls......a little more options than my Escape had! I really like it so far. Still getting used to driving a "mini van" though. I feel like such a mom!!!! lol Anyways, what do you think?

We have put Lilly in the back, Isaiah in the 2nd row (we are able to seperate them more now, which is great- cuts down on a lot of fighting and "he hit me", "she touched me"!) and will put the other seat in the 2nd row up when baby comes, and put baby girl in that seat. More room. Comfy. We like it. :)

And, because I have been lacking in blog posts lately..........here are some over-due Easter pics for your viewing pleasure! =)

Baby Update

Ok, Jer is finally home, at least for the duration of my pregnancy. :) Shew, that's a relief. No last minutes emergency flights from Mexico City!

I had a drs appt last week. Baby is down, and I was dialated 2 cm.

I am now doing my fun, weekly visits. Went again yesterday. She stressed again how low the babys head was, she had really dropped. And now I'm dialated 3 cm. My body is definately progressing! I have 19 days until my scheduled induction date of May 3rd.

I would love to have this baby in April. Not necessarily because I'm sick of being pregnant, or just want her to be born, but because mine and Jer's anniversary is May 5th, and I really wanted the babys birthday to be farther apart from our anniversary. If she's born May 3rd, our anniv on May 5th, I have a feeling, will just get over-looked every year. :( And I love celebrating our anniversary, so I want to avoid that. It will be 9 years for us this year :)
Anywho.....that's the latest as of right now. I'm trying to walk a little more, and actually just got done mowing our yard. Trying to help baby girl speed things up a tad ;) We'll see if it does anything, other than make my cankles swell even more!

what. a. week.

Sorry for the lack of posts lately. It's been one of .....well....one of those weeks I guess. Jeremy is in Mexico this week. Thank the Lord just for one week this time. My kids (not to name any names...) *ahem...Isaiah*, have been something else this week. Honestly, God must think I'm something special to give me a son like Isaiah. That boy is T O U G H. I just could not get him to preschool fast enough this morning. Now I am back at home. Calming my nerves. For another hour and 22.7 minutes, until I must go pick him up.

So. How's your week? =)

Happy Easter Weekend to you all!!!

Hello Friends! Just droppin in to say I hope you all have a wonderful Easter with your friends and family. We have a busy, fun weekend planned. Jeremy comes home tonight (yay!!!) from being in Mexico for almost 2 weeks. Tomorrow, he took the day off, and we are (hopefully) going to sell my Escape (if her loan goes thru ok), and then buy us a mini van. We need more room! Gotta make room for 3 babies.....and 3 car seats! My little yellow Escape is just not gonna cut it when baby gets here :(
Saturday evening we are celebrating Easter with my parents and sister and her family at my parents house and Sunday afternoon we are having our Easter dinner with Jeremy's family at his parents house. Lots of fun, lots of food, lots of egg hunts and lots of memories to be made! :)
