Easter 2011

Hope you and your family had a fun, safe, blessed Easter! I know my famiy did! We celebrated Saturday with my parents and family, and today with Jer's parents and family. Lots of fun was had by all.

And I don't know about you and your kids, but my kids have been on a sugar high all weekend, and have finally fell into a sugar-induced coma for the night. Ah yes, Easter, in my opinion, by far, has the BEST selection of delectable sugary goodness, than any other holiday candies.

But this year, I shall refrain from stealing borrowing a few pieces of my childrens candies. I am going to lose weight by summertime, and will be swimsuit ready by Memorial Day, even if IT KILLS ME! and it just might.

Don't these 3 look like they need a little more sugar in their diet? hump. ;-)

Happy Easter Weekend to you all!!!

Hello Friends! Just droppin in to say I hope you all have a wonderful Easter with your friends and family. We have a busy, fun weekend planned. Jeremy comes home tonight (yay!!!) from being in Mexico for almost 2 weeks. Tomorrow, he took the day off, and we are (hopefully) going to sell my Escape (if her loan goes thru ok), and then buy us a mini van. We need more room! Gotta make room for 3 babies.....and 3 car seats! My little yellow Escape is just not gonna cut it when baby gets here :(

Saturday evening we are celebrating Easter with my parents and sister and her family at my parents house and Sunday afternoon we are having our Easter dinner with Jeremy's family at his parents house. Lots of fun, lots of food, lots of egg hunts and lots of memories to be made! :)

Easter weekend

I love Easter time. One of my favorite holidays. We get to celebrate our Saviour, and Him dying for us on the cross......and three days later, He rose again!!! He is Alive! I absolutely cannot wait until Sunday. The celebration of Christs' resurrection. What an awesome day in God's house we will have!

We are having Easter dinner at our house this year. This will be the first holiday without our dear Grandma. She was such a pillar of our family, it is tough getting together, knowing she won't be there, and remembering how much she loved having all her family together. BUT......even better, she gets to spend this Easter with JESUS!!!!

So I know she'll be having her own special party up there with Him!

Our Easter holiday got started bright and early this morning, as day one of our 4 day weekend began. Jer was off work today for Good Friday. We got to spend the day with him, which is always an extra special treat for the kiddos (and me, of course!) :) We spent the day together, and now he is off doing his 'guy thing' with some guys from our church. Went to Dave & Busters. (I've never been there, but it's been explained to me as a Chucky Cheese, for adults. Adult arcade games, basically).

Tomorow we have a crazy/busy day planned. Early morning choir practice for Jer, and I am working childcare for it, and then an Easter lunch with my family at my moms house, followed by (of course) the Easter egg hunt, then tomorrow night we're off to my friend (Brandi's) house to help celebrate her daughter who turns 5 tomorrow. Shew. I'm tired just typing it all out.

And of course Sunday is the big Easter dinner with Jeremy's family at our house, followed by another egg hunt. Should be lotsa fun!

I did have a few pics to share with ya'll tonight. Mom's been asking me about theses.....so here ya go. :)

The first ones are of the kiddos, on Thursday night, while Jer and I attempted to help the kids color Easter eggs. oh Lord, give us patience. lol

And then, earlier today, we went up to Wal Mart, and guess who was there? Why, the Easter bunny of course! So we, attempted to get a picture of the kids with the Easter bunny. Somehow, we ended up in it as well. go figure. Both kids were clinging to us like a bunny to a carrot. (lol.....get it?) hm, so I guess our kids aren't big Easter bunny fans? (although I must admit, the Easter bunny did look a little, um, rough....)
