Sad day for me.......April 3rd....we sold my beloved yellow Ford Escape. =( We must make room for 3 car seats though, and my comfy little Escape was just not going to cut it. So we posted the listing on Craisglist, and sold it very quickly - to a lady from our church actually! So I might still get to see it around the church parking lot every now and then! It was a sad day indeed though. We bought that car in 2003/04 in Michigan right after we moved there. Ran great. It was a good little car.
BUT......with baby #3 on the way, we must have something larger for our growing family. So for a couple weeks we have been van shopping. On April 12th, we found a blue Grand Caravan that we really liked. It was a little older, and had a few more miles on it than what we originally were looking at, but the price was good, so we snagged it. LOVE the color of it. Although, I know mom, it's not as easy to spot as the bright yellow. :)
Seven passenger, stow-n-go seating, leather seats, heated front seats, automatic side door openers, dual air controls......a little more options than my Escape had! I really like it so far. Still getting used to driving a "mini van" though. I feel like such a mom!!!! lol Anyways, what do you think?We have put Lilly in the back, Isaiah in the 2nd row (we are able to seperate them more now, which is great- cuts down on a lot of fighting and "he hit me", "she touched me"!) and will put the other seat in the 2nd row up when baby comes, and put baby girl in that seat. More room. Comfy. We like it. :)
