halloween 2011

My nephews spent the night with us last Saturday night and we took them to our neighborhood "haunted trail" and went trick-or-treating. The kids loved dressing up, and lemme tell ya, they were the best looking kids down there! =)

Mario meets Dr Jonathan.....I'd recommend waiting until Jonathan finishes, oh, say, THIRD grade at least before you let him operate on ya!

the cutest lil ladybug around...... =) she did NOT like her hood up - too bad baby girl, that's what made the costume so freaking adorable, those little ladybug antennas! (which you can't even see in the picture!)

Halloween......eve?

I went to Lilly's school today for her Halloween parade. She has chosen this year to dress up as Dora the Explorer, her new fave. Not sure why though, I think she's only seen bits and pieces of the show. So I sent her costume to school today, and joined her later for our trek through the school as we went 'trick or treating' down the halls. In the class room, I saw a side of Lilly that I'm not used to seeing of her at home. It was quite interesting and fun. Back in the car after leaving school though, she was back to her usual self. It was nice while it lasted.

Tomorrow night the family is heading to the church for the annual Fall and Halloween festivities. So, if you live in the area, and are looking for something fun (and clean and safe) to do, stop by. I mean, seriously, it's not every day that you get a chance to meet Dora the Explorer (Lilly) and Spiderman (Isaiah)!!!!!
