My B-Day

This picture on the left was taken Saturday night during my birthday celebration. Whenever my family gets together, we always try to get the cousins to get a group photo - which, with young ones, as most of you know, is never easy. Other than the big glare from the fireplace, it turned out pretty good this time.

Sunday was a good, but busy day. I literaly was at the church for 13 hours straight. We had an MPact crowning ceremony during the PM service, so me (along with about 6 or 7 other MPact helpers) stayed after AM service and ordered pizza and decorated for it. We had a great turnout, which made all our hard work worth it. And the girls, there were 3 of them getting crowned. Julia, Kendra and Sydney all looked beautiful.

Monday was my birthday. Yes, I am now the big two-eight. Jeremy worked from home on Monday, and I woke up to him feeding the kids breakfast downstairs, and making me some biscuits and gravy. Then we sent Lilly off to school, and he went downstairs to work and Isaiah and I got ready, and we met friends Brandi and Christina at the park at 10 and walked a couple miles. It was a little chilly in the AM, but turned out to be perfect walking-weather. Then when we came home, we had lunch, and my sis-in-law came over to get the kids for the day, so she waited until Lilly got off the bus, then took the kids back to her house. I mowed the lawn (yes, on my bday, but it was in dire need!) and got ready and Jer took off work early, and we went and saw a matinee movie, then, when we got out of there it was almost 7, and we went to the Olive Garden and had dinner. And my present for my bday this year? My much-loved-and-much-talked-and-hinted-about, Cricut machine! Thanks Jeremy and Lilly & Isaiah! You guys are awesome! This just means it's about time for another scrapbook-extravaganza! =)
